From the Mouth of Babes

Sunday afternoon, we were at our usual spot after church having lunch having lunch - Scotty P's. We were in the main room, surrounded by people.

We aren't quite sure what happened, but all of the sudden, Tucker yells out "HOLY SHOOT!"

I looked Becky - Becky looked at me! Aidan spit his coke out, Noah falls out of the chair laughing and it was all we could do to keep from losing it.

That boy - I'm not sure where he learns these things. (And yes, I know it could have been a lot worse).

Unknown said...: If he has seen the movie "Cars" he probably got it from there. Mater says it at least one time, possibly more. I keep waiting for it to come flying out of Ethan's mouth, but so far have been lucky.

Introduction

This all began with emails, random thoughts, and prayer requests when our 5th son, Titus Beck, was born. From the moment he was born, issues arose which have led us on a new journey of faith.

Titus was born with micronagthia (recessed chin) that blocked his breathing, cleft palate, profound deafness, blindness, Dandy-Walker variant, ASD/VSD, hemi-vertebrae in the spine, and the list continues. He has had 8 surgeries in 14 months and spent 115 days in the NICU or PICU.

And yet, with all of that, Titus is gift from God, a blessing, a content and happy baby.

And along with Titus, we have 4 other boys, 2 golden retrievers, 2 nurses, and whole cast of characters that flow in and out of our house. To us, it's quite routine and normal, but others don't seem to see it that way. Follow along the journey of our daily life.
