Jerry is Back Home

Jerry was released last night from the hospital. The tests were somewhat inconclusive of what happened, but anytime you have a brain injury/surgery, it's going to take several weeks for the healing to occur and things to get back to normal. Jerry really needs his rest - and as much as he likes visitors and to entertain, he needs his rest more. He will be recieving home health care for therapy and assistance. We are grateful for all the prayers and thoughts.

Introduction

This all began with emails, random thoughts, and prayer requests when our 5th son, Titus Beck, was born. From the moment he was born, issues arose which have led us on a new journey of faith.

Titus was born with micronagthia (recessed chin) that blocked his breathing, cleft palate, profound deafness, blindness, Dandy-Walker variant, ASD/VSD, hemi-vertebrae in the spine, and the list continues. He has had 8 surgeries in 14 months and spent 115 days in the NICU or PICU.

And yet, with all of that, Titus is gift from God, a blessing, a content and happy baby.

And along with Titus, we have 4 other boys, 2 golden retrievers, 2 nurses, and whole cast of characters that flow in and out of our house. To us, it's quite routine and normal, but others don't seem to see it that way. Follow along the journey of our daily life.
